Review of To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) by Chris C — 02 Nov 2007
Absolutely brutal, with no likeable characters to speak of, but thrilling and slick. It's also nice to see the sleazy, dirty side of L.A.. No shots of Beverly Hills or Rodeo Drive here, it's all junk yards, dirty side streets, and cheap strip clubs.
Raw, mean, and alienating. Some call this a relic of 80's cinema, I call it outstanding 80's cinema.
