Review of To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) by Xavier R — 07 Oct 2018
To Live and Die in LA is not mentiond in the same breadth as The Exorcist or French Connection but it is a very good thriller. Starring William Peterson and Willem Defoe this is a Los Angeles crime caper full of action (containing what many consider one of the greatest car chase sequences ever filmed) and underlying themes.
The direction by Friedkin is top notch and the acting and cinematography are borderline excellent. You must watch this film if you like action films, films set in LA or great movies in general.
