(2001) Glad I got to see this one this weekend [Memorial Day Weekend]! Whew! A bit more stark than I had anticipated but stellar performances by a great cast made this a great viewing.
After the moving showing (on TV21 tbn) there was a brief storylette about the actual "Captain Gordon" & Nagasake the Oxford educated Japanese translator @ the prison camp.
