Review of To End All Wars (2001) by Modestguitarist . — 07 Apr 2011
"When a man loses his hope, thats when he dies".
"We called him "Yanker," because he was an American - and a bit of a wanker".
An unmissable, powerful war drama about the Argyle Regiment and various others imprisoned by the Japanese in Thailand POW camps. Their methods were brutal and immoral as they used these prisoners of war to build a railway in 1943, but not completely relenltless.
Amazing story telling drawn from actual events, emotional, chilling and gripping from beginning to end you just don't want to blink in case you miss something.
