Review of To Catch a Thief (1955) by Lucás L — 08 Jul 2009
Surprisingly lighter than most Hitchcock movies it is still a very enjoyable piece. And besides that, Hitchcock does not loose his style and he apperars (again!) in a cameo! Cary Grant apports a little extra as an elegant burglar determinde to clean his name and alos his chemistry with Grace Kelly.
The result is an enjoyable and well-crafted romanti-thriller, although I have the strange feeling that ii isn't entirely Hitchcock's movie..
