Review of Thesis (1996) by Sushmit N — 05 Nov 2011
This Spanish language horror/suspense movie promises a lot of thrills and chills essentially because of the unique subject of research on 'Audio Visual Violence', which happens to be the thesis topic of the protagonist.
But sadly the promises are not kept well, and the movie descends into a predictable murder-mystery/psycho killer genre of movies. The movie works chiefly because of brilliant acting by most of the cast.
It seems that the impact scenes where edited out or ran into trouble with the makers as the movie never reaches its true potential of throwing you off your seats.
