Review of Thesis (1996) by Daniel S — 08 Apr 2011
With this alejandro amenabar cements his place as one of my favorite current directors, ive yet to see one I havent liked, his first movie, tesis,, is a quite impressive horror film, its well acted by all in it, its got several scary sequences, and is well shot and has a great score, which are staples in all of amenabars films, I will say it does get a lil bit convoluted near the end, and I wasnt sure about the importance/relevance of one of the subplots involving yolanda, but still a fine thriller.
