Review of The Young and the Damned (1950) by Faith S — 04 Sep 2007
Buñuel's take on neo-realism really showed his contempt for the idea of presenting reality. He created a dark and disturbing world where even the characters dreams are no escape. It is also a heartbreaking and beautiful film with enough dark humor to choke a horse.
