Review of The Year of Living Dangerously (1982) by Mark S — 07 Oct 2007
No matter how many times I've seen this movie, it always gets me -- especially the ending, which ranks up there with "The Third Man" for me for delivering one of film's great final shots.
Rarely do drama, cinematic beauty and complex historical reality work together in such harmony in a movie. One of director Peter Weir's best (along with "Gallipoli" and "Witness").
