Satyajit Ray - I always wanted to watch his works and somehow missed out all these days.'Apur Sansar' was one good start, to follow are his masterpieces - Pather Panchali and Aparajito.
Sharmila Tagore was mesmerising and I so fell in love with 3 things after watching this movie.
A. Satyajit Ray b. Sharmila Tagore c. Bengali Script(lipi).
'O bandhure....' is still haunting me with its mystical note and the background flute.
Very typical of being a parallel cinema but leaves one with a grin on face...
The kid is mighty talented and no wonder every bit every frame every note every sound every line fits in so well to the movie. Hats Off Satyajit Ray.
