Review of The Wolf Man (1941) by Max D — 06 Oct 2010
The best werewolf movie ever. I feel the starting is a little slow but regardless gives away important plot points (like when he buys the silver tipped cane). It's interesting how our main character Larry Talbot gets paranoid and thinks he's a werewolf (yes he is obviously the werewolf but that's not the point).
While it has a great setting especially when we see the Werewolf I'm disappoint he don't get a good shot of the Full Moon. The transformation while old fashioned stop-motion and no were near as spectacular as the transformation in An American Werewolf in London it's still done well for its time.
If you haven't seen it check it out, it's a great piece of horror history.
