The Wiz is my favorite musical of all time. I am surprised that the initial reviews for The Wiz were mostly negative. My friends and just about any African-American I meet loves the WIZ. Maybe it got negative reviews because it was all black.
I think Diana Ross did a great job in the Wiz. This movie actually made me come alive as a child so all the critics can just ...well....ease on down the road.
