One of the best movie-musical ever. Diana, Nipsey, Ted, and Michael do an amazing job bringing the music from the stage to the screen. This is definitely one of my all-time favourite movies. It was extremely well done and I can't see why anyone wouldn't love it.
THE WIZ IS AN AMAZING MOVIE! From the acting, to the singing and dancing. The script to the music. The effects to the set. It was extremely well done. For anyone who says otherwise they're either insane or they're forgetting it way 1978 and obviously they didn't have all the editing abilities they do now so for that time it was a FANTASTIC movie.
If you haven't seen this before, YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!
