Review of The Wiz (1978) by Shane D — 24 May 2009
A nostalgic memory of a film I watched a bunch as a kid. It hasnt held up well in the 20 years since its release, serves only as a history lesson to one of the last times Michael Jackson could be watched without any notion of weird spectacle.
The set pieces are really over the top, there are some interesting moments, but overall, it can be a little slow.
