This movie was incredibly violent for the time, and it is easily one of the best westerns ever made. Besides maybe Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, this is Peckinpah's crowning achievement. The Cast of Holden, Borgnine, and Oates is my personal wet dream.
