One of the greatest American films brought extremely controversial bloodletting-a benchmark for others to follow. Acting, superb, photography, (Lucien Ballard) unforgettable, score, (Jerry Fielding) stimulating, editing, unmatched, and the shootouts (particularly the climax) pack a wallop!
