For sure, Close is so good. But I think Pryce is too. What I wouldï¿ 1/2(TM)ve loved more of is her feelings as a writer. Thereï¿ 1/2(TM)s a scene at the end where she spills her guts and you get just a glimpse of how the writer inside had to write which would justify her actions over the years.
I was not impressed by Irons character or his performance. Yes we get the angst the son of a famous writer feels. But much of this including the arguing scenes (one ironically about a cliche) was a cliche.
