Review of The Warriors (1979) by Michael W — 25 May 2016
Not the best movie, but a movie everyone movie must watch! The Warriors is a B movie but a memorable movie. The gang must find its way back to Coney Island and is blamed for killing a gang leader and has every gang in the city after the Warriors. The acting, story etc is B ish. What makes The Warriors a cult classic is a few of the scenes. The Orphans scene, the basseball Furies scene with Ajax, and Luther's Warriors come out to play scene is directed perfectly. People at work still mention a 1979 movie lines, and situations at my job today! Not a great movie but memorable one! Two out of five.
