Review of The Virgin Spring (1960) by Jonathan S — 14 Jan 2009
Infinitely better than Last House on the Left, which completely ripped it off. Tore's reflection at the end is interesting. He's angry with God, he doesn't understand, and yet he asks for forgiveness because he knows nothing else.
After this and The Seventh Seal, I'm looking forward to seeing more of Bergman's stuff.
