Review of The Virgin Spring (1960) by John B — 09 Apr 2013
One of Ingmar Bergman's finest films. A tragedy about a young girl who is raped and murdered by a band of thieves and ends up staying at the home of her family who gets revenge upon them. A truly amazing film and the inspiration for Wes Craven's The Last House on the Left.
Amazing film.
