Review of The Vampire Lovers (1970) by Hank Y — 20 Sep 2007

Wonder period piece and a classic example of early 1970s British horror drama from Hammer House. Its such a shame to hear people use the term "cheesy" to describe a movie that has plot, great acting, good sets and costuming instead of mindless maniacs chopping co-eds into pieces and calling that horror.

And if anyone thinks British cinema is devoid of sensuality, they obviously have not seen this jewel!
