Review of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964) by Nathalie C — 03 Jan 2007
At first I was taken by surprise of the beautiful colours, and then after a while I got tired of them singing without a real tune. I was wondering when the final plot would occur, and then it struck me! The last scene has be one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the history of films.
So simple, yet so incredibly tragic. I can't remember the last time I got so emotional in the shortest amount of time.
