A big delicious bonbon of a movie. Sometimes style & charisma go a long way towards making a film succeed. This only has the most basic of love story plots, but everything else is so stylized & over the top, who cares? The music soars, the sets/costumes are riotous, the leads achingly beautiful.
..I just absolutely LOVE this movie.
