Review of The Third Man (1949) by Maggie G — 18 Apr 2011
The important part is realizing how NEW this movie was. Sewer chases? Creepy little kids? A number of intentionally stereotyped characters that seem to have no connection to the reality of the protagonist? (Hello, Coen Brothers.
) A dialogue that occasionally goes too fast to be fully understood? (Sorkin!) All done in '49. And it has Orson Wells.
