Review of The Thing from Another World (1951) by Andrew I — 13 Apr 2012
Cheap, ropey but enjoyable monster movie. This is too far removed from Campbell's short story and the decent light hearted banter between the characters detracts from any sense of fear or suspense that may have existed.
No-one seems that bothered by the creature that is, to be fair, at least menacing. The kerosene scene is great, amazing no-one was killed.
