In the classic 1982 John Carpenter film, 'The Thing' we are introduced to a creature that is everything beyond our darkest nightmares and a crime scene that really gets no explanation. From the producers of 'Dawn of the Dead' comes a prequal that lives up to its heritage: 'The Thing'.
Set roughly 48 hours prior to the original story, the film revisits an old menace found in the ice. Two thumbs up.
