This 1974 triller with an odd title is about a hijacking on a New York subay, and the cat and mouse game the subway master plays with the bad guys. Has a fairly young Walter Mattau as the station boss.
Keep in mind that in the 70s, suspense was brought through showing speeding model trains going by models of train stations and slow moving trains at actual stations, and stuff. They didn't have CG.
