Review of The Sword of Doom (1966) by Petter B — 21 Jan 2008
Worth watching only for the excellent duels. Unfortunately the swordplay gets sloppy towards the end, especially in the famous end scene where technique, realism and cinematography gives way to carnage. Did I say end? After two hours it simply stops, leaving a promising plot unresolved.
You might want to watch the similar but finished "sepuku" instead if you havn't yet.
