Review of The Sword in the Stone (1963) by Irina T — 07 Dec 2010
Of course the animation isn't as good as what we can find nowadays but I honestly didn't find so much flaw in it when I first watched this movie a few years ago. I cared more about the story, and honestly if it weren't for Disney's Sing Along Songs I wouldn't have known about it because no one talks about it and it's not even in Disneyland for Christ's sake (yes I went to the one in Hong Kong which sucked, I couldn't even find Emperor's New Groove and Hunchback characters there!).
I've forgotten some parts of the story, but the magic and enchantments in the movie are probably the parts that I remember most. There should've been more jokes to entertain the audience, though, because in the 1990s Disney did a great job in incooperating a lot of humour into their animated movies.
8/10.
