Review of The Shipping News (2001) by Helga M — 14 Jan 2009

This is a haunting movie, one that will stay with you a long time after viewing it. The music is heavenly, the cinematography gorgeous, the acting first-rate (except for Julianne Moore, strangely enough, who didn't impress me at all) and the story moving.

"I believe that a broken man can heal." Try this one and give it time and watch it thoughtfully. I want to go find the soundtrack.
