Review of The Sea Hawk (1940) by Devin C — 21 Jul 2007
This is one of the great Errol Flynn adventures of the 30's. While not as good as Captain Blood or Robin Hood, one-of-a-kind superstar Flynn and his versatile director Curtiz have nonetheless combined for another kick-ass movie with some truly impressive action sequences.
The sea battles and Flynn's final sword duel are both among the best ever put on film. A true classic.
