Review of The Sea Hawk (1940) by Bob W — 27 Jun 2014
A sweeping epic replete with ship battle, escape from slavery, swordplay, political intrigue and strong allegorical hints aimed at the audience which first watched it at the beginnings of WW II. If you don't like B&W films, I suggest (along with TCM) you view this film to forever unburden yourself of that silly prejudice.
