"The Royal Tenenbaums" is at this point my favorite film from Wes Anderson. It has all the great cinematography, strange storytelling, quiet awkward moments, and quirky characters I love from his movies and it has the best story too.
An old man who drove his family away with his bad behavior tries to win them back...with more bad behavior. The whole ensemble cast is great, especially Hackman, who plays the practically insane Royal Tenenbaum perfectly.
