The Royal Tennenbaums is one of the most underrated movies ever made. It is a masterpiece by writer and director Wes Anderson, and arguably his best film. The trials and tribulations of the Tennenbaum family will have you rolling with laughter one moment and weeping with despair at the next.
Somehow this movie seamlessly blends the highest comedy and lowest tragedy. I watch this movie at least once a year. This is a timeless classic about family and the human condition.
