Review of The Red Cliff (1949) by Soponwit W — 22 Feb 2010
A dazzling Chinese epic about one of the most significant events in the Three Kingdoms legend. It's good fun with great and beautiful shots, yet some of the scenes, especially the battle sequences, the editing seemed pretty rushed and quite slow paced.
But overall, the film works on an entertaining level.
