Review of Interstellar (2014) by Soponwit W — 13 Dec 2017
Chris Nolan's Interstellar might not be the most perfect film ever made, nor is it the best film Nolan has ever made, but the sheer scope, vision, ambition and the emotion within the film plus the stunning imagery contained in the film is enough to make you think, reflect, debate and ponder as you get drawn into the science, the themes, the acting and the emotion of the film.
There are however numerous narrative flaws and leaps of faith that are bordering on pure silliness in its massive three hour run time. But regardless of its problems you can not help but be drawn into its ambitiousness and the journey the film chooses to take; you just can not help but appreciate and accept that this is a huge undertaking Nolan has attempted with this film.
With incredible visual and practical effects, stunning scenes filmed in real places, incredible IMAX cinematography and an incredible score by Hans Zimmer, Interstellar is a must see film in cinemas especially on the IMAX format.
