Review of The Quiet Man (1952) by Clarence S — 07 Jun 2008
Totally different from Ange. the Quiet Man examines the characteristics of real manliness. ASt what point do you stand up for what you believe, and where do you place your values. The central conflict is not the obvious one with Victor McLaglen, but the internal conflict Wayne's character faces.
Again, in Wayne's top 5.
