Review of The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) by Steve G — 24 Mar 2012
The affair starts in such a ridiculously implausable way.
Both of lana's relationships are implausible beyond absurdity.
Very cheesy.
Absurd music cues.
John garfield seems so nice, as usual, but is actually pure evil.
What's with the hat?
Nick is a bit too light and cartoonish.
Great performance from turner.
Sleaziest lawyer ever.
Cutting to train scene is too abrupt.
Too up & down emotionally.
About poetic justice. tragedy, similar to a place in the sun.
Ultimately about justice.
What's with the hat?
