Review of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) by Michael W — 18 Mar 2013
This really feels like a movie solely made for profit. It feels like Warner Bros recognized that musicals were coming back and threw a heap of money at Schumacher and Webber. But the money was put to good use.
Sets are lavish and a treat to look at and the cinematography is stellar. An otherwise average film is a fairly enjoyable watch.
