Review of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) by Ulla D — 04 Mar 2014
Although I've read the book several times and have seen two other movie versions as well as the stage version, this is my favorite movie version. It's a love story that's tragic but not gory.
The story centers around Erik, our resident "Opera Ghost", Christine, the object of his affections, and Raul, her childhood love. Simply put, the Phantom loves Christine, she doesn't love him back, but loves Raul, who loves Christine.
The music is incedible but if you can, you MUST SEE THE STAGE VERSION! But I still love the movie!
