Review of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) by Stephen S — 14 May 2017
Sets and costume designs are great however the stagecraft and editing are sloppy breaking the illusion of the story. The film doesn't take its time to develop the romance and focuses on the smaller parts of the story.
The main character Christine isn't properly introduced as she shows up with a simple line, about 15 minutes in the film.
