The best version of this story to ever be filmed. Lon Chaney portrays the best Phantom in history, he begins the movie making the character dark and intriguing but becomes scary and villianous but in the end is tragic.
Chaney used his legendary make up skills to create the best monster make up in movie history, the famous unmasking scene still makes people jump.
