This silent Lon Chaney, Sr. classic has great cinematography, wonderful make up effects, and a good atmosphere. The color scenes look terrific, and Lon Chaney, Sr. is wonderful as the Phantom. I really like this silent horror classic, and I feel like it has made a lasting mark on horror cinema.
It is also a classic of the Universal Horror canon, and Chaney's Phantom is one of the most iconic movie monsters in history.
