Review of The Passion of the Christ (2004) by Pablo B — 29 May 2016

I give this film an average rating. I liked the movie for its message, but setting that aside, it is far too gruesome. The only thing you could do as he was being beaten is be disgusted. I am a strong Christian myself, and this film set the message that God went through 14 horrible stages to die for us very well.

but this movie didn't have to be so, how do I put this, RED. People like to have their kids learn about Christ through movies too. but this film is not the right film for children under 14. Mel Gibson made this movie more of a horrifying bloodbathe that's just not what a church would talk about.
