Review of The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) by Stephen S — 17 Jan 2009
Henry Fonda puts in a great, somewhat subtle and dryly humourous performance in this sober western morality tale. Maybe a little dated now, but still a powerful story and message, well acted and well directored, right up until the powerful ending.
Up until this movie, I was only familiar with "On Golden Pond", and now I'm looking forward to finding out more about his career!
