Review of The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) by Aldo G — 14 May 2012
This 1943 Western classic still holds up well with its timeless tale of mob-think. The film's star, Henry Fonda, loved to tell stories about justice. This movie was a pet project of his as the studio didn't want to make such a grim story.
He got the movie done and audiences that see it now, about 70 years later, should appreciate the message, even if they find the melodrama too thick.
