Review of The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) by Trent J — 09 Aug 2009
Strong morality made in the middle of the US World War years. Rivalries and conflict are played out as three lives hang by a thread, their fate decided by a lynch mob tipped over the edge of justice. Henry is wonderful, of course, but so are the support.
A few familiar faces among them, including a very early role for Dr. Sherman T. Potter of MASH fame. A minor work, but reminiscent of Henry's role later in 12 Angry Men.
