Review of The Odd Couple (1968) by Andy O — 30 Aug 2009
Playwright Neil Simon's classic with the famous characters of Felix Unger and Oscar being portrayed in legendary fashion by Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. Of course, the roommates are opposites- Oscar a poker playing "normal" type of guy and Felix as on OCD neat freak who is getting a divorce from his wife.
This results in many laughs and one of the most painful scenes of social awkwardness I have ever seen (when Oscar has the two European girls over). A classic film!
