Review of The Odd Couple (1968) by James C — 24 Aug 2012
Before we had the comedic duos of Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder, David Spade/Chris Farley and John C. Reilly/Will Ferell, we had Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. These two played off one another so well in this film.
Jack Lemmon is the neurotic, obsessive-compulsive neat freak and Matthau is the laid back, lovable slob. Put them together, you get a damn funny movie with a heart.
