Shane Black was able to a task many may have thought impossible. He revived the buddy-cop genre by simultaneously creating one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. The style, the tone, the action, and the writing all blend flawlessly to create believable characters in a believable world.
This movie is a true masterpiece.
